These first months of the year have already been marked by God’s evident kindness, and by the joy of serving together as one body in Christ across cultures. Our short-term mission season launched in February with a small but courageous team of five from Grace Fellowship Church (Katy, TX). Their impact reached far beyond their number.

They poured into our teenage students through workshops on identity, mental health, and purity, while also creating meaningful opportunities to practice English and grow in confidence. They equipped our young adults in vocational training with practical sessions on marketing and networking. And through a staff-wide seminar focused on empowerment and purpose, they helped strengthen our team’s unity and spiritual encouragement; seeds we’re already seeing bear fruit.

The momentum continues in the months ahead. Next quarter, we will welcome two student teams serving in Bogotá and Cartagena. They will lead youth leadership camps in our God Is Love Schools, encourage families, partner with local churches through evangelism and fellowship, and participate in cultural exchange activities that inspire Colombian students to become intentional leaders in their communities.

We’re deeply grateful for church partners who return year after year, walking with us in the long work of community transformation. And we would love to welcome you into what God is doing here.

If your church, school, or organization is exploring short-term missions, Conviventia offers vision trips designed to help you understand Colombia’s context and join local believers in meaningful service. Whether you’re 14 or 80, a skilled professional or simply willing to serve, there’s a place for you.
