Faith in Jesus
“There is only one real way within the Christian ethical framework to confront poverty. That way is undoubtedly the transformation of the humans heart.”
– Jose Batista
Faith in Jesus
Statement of Faith
The Holy Bible is the Word of God, written by men divinely inspired. It is without any mixture of error. We believe all Scripture is true and trustworthy and is the supreme standard for all matters concerning human conduct, faith, and practice.
(James 1:7 & 2 Peter 1:21).
There is one and only one living and true God who reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
We believe in His sacrifice and His substitutionary death on the cross, by which He made provision for the reconciliation of men with God. We believe He was raised to life, is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.
Man by his free choice sinned against God and is therefore in need of Salvation. Without Christ, man is destined to eternal damnation and separation from God.
The the only way to redemption is through accepting Jesus Christ and Lord and Savior, which results in a vital and personal relationship with Him, our Redeemer.
We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit who convicts men of sin and empowers the believer to live a life of holiness and service toward God and men.
We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit who convicts men of sin and empowers the believer to live a life of holiness and We believe in the forgiveness of sins, regeneration, justification, and new birth which are received by faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit who convicts men of sin and empowers the believer to live a life of holiness and We believe in the unity of the church (as the body of Christ), existing among all those who have placed their faith in Christ.
We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly, the dead will be raised and Christ will judge all men in righteousness. The righteous will receive their reward and the unrighteous will be consigned to Hell.
In all our affairs we submit to the ordinances and principles established by God in His Word.
In light of our statement of faith:
- We are responsible, primarily, before God for all of the resources under our administration; as such, we work both because of Him and for Him, exercising diligence and integrity in all that we do. In this way, we commit ourselves to always act in a way that is exemplary of His Holy Word in action.
- We commit to always ensure that our program design, our teachings and actions are founded upon and permeated by the values and principles that underpin the Christian worldview.
